ABOUT ME

You know that lemonade stand kid? That was me… except it wasn’t lemonade, it was stress balls, babysitting, and cake stands. I knew what I was good at, and from a young age I was determined to capitalise on it.

I got sidetracked for a while, working in other people’s companies, for the Church and the government as a primary school teacher but the entrepreneur inside of me was desperate to break free. This resulted in the conception of my first successful business, RAW Chocolate, in which I made the rookie mistake of working almost entirely IN the business instead of ON the business. After failing to get a few other businesses off the ground I had enough foresight to know it was important to begin with my vision, mission and values. By the time the business had grown to the point where it needed to really scale up, I’d recognised that the best option was to sell the business and focus on my true passion… inspiring entrepreneurs to tap into their full potential and reach new heights in their businesses and personal lives.

And thus my coaching business, The Courage Project, was born. Why “courage”? Because being a business owner and leader requires an incredible amount of courage. Mistakes will be made, lessons will be learned and doubts will be had. My aim is to guide and support people through that so they can spend less time worrying or sabotaging their goals, and more time making meaningful impact.

By using my personal experience and coaching skills I help leaders set up their businesses efficiently, effectively and unlock their full potential. Through achieving this aim a ripple effect occurs… Leaders who create visionary companies, outstanding culture, and inspiration within their teams create change in communities. It is my firm belief that by helping leaders become even more conscious, compassionate and courageous we create a better world.
